I just got a PDA a few months ago, so I haven't tried Avisys on that yet, but with Christmas coming I've been dropping hints here and there. I have no reason to expect the PDA version will be any less satisfactory than the PC version. I'd be very interested to hear from other regarding ID software for the PDA, as I'd love to have that as well. By the way, responses on the list to requests for information about products (as opposed to birding in far-away places) are much preferable to off-list replies, as it allows the rest of us to learn about things we would not find out otherwise. For example, I'm saving my pennies for a scope, and I've kept all the past messages about experience with various scopes to refer back to when I eventually am able to buy one. I also didn't know about the NWF software, and am glad to find out about it. Unless too many people feel it's objectionable, I'd appreciate replies to RFIs about products on-list.
