I just got a call from Hans Holbrooke who found a Brant with the Canada Goose flock at the Rt. 309 Pond in Queen Anne County. The pond is on the east side of Rt.309 about 1 mile east of the intersection of Rt. 213 and Rt.309. This is a great place to check for waterfowl because you can view the pond from the road [do not leave the road]. The location has produced in the past: Ross's Goose, Ross'sxSnow, and Greater White-fronted Goose. Good Birding!
