I first arrived at the Haupt Gardens to find the Rufous in the orange flowers. I then met Helen Patton and we walked over to Ripley Gardens. After a few minutes (and after one lady who had been looking for a while just left) a Pine Warbler flew in to the willow tree. Helen then spotted the Black-chinned Hummingbird as it arrived right after the warbler. The warbler and Black-chinned fought a bit, but then we got great looks at the Black-chinned as it drank from the feeder in the willow. I believe that the time was 1:36 p.m. Phil Kenny 1731 Killarney Court Vienna, VA 22182-2133 philkenny1@cox.net ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
