I visited Point Lookout on Tuesday and saw a fair number of ducks. The best duck numbers were off the fishing pier: Black Scoters - Several Hundred Surf Scoters - Less numerous than Black Scoters but easily found White-winged Scoters - About 10-15 Goldeneyes - Fair numbers Oldsquaws - Numerous Buffleheads - Numerous Greater Scaup - About 12 Common Loon - Several Red-breasted Merganser - Several The point is closed to car traffic, but you can drive beyond the access to the fishing pier. I did not find any open rest rooms. I didn't see any ducks at North Beach from the pier area (The pier is closed). Hopefully, the lack of ducks was due to the windy conditions. Happy birding, Dan Eberly Bethesda _________________________________________________________________ Tired of slow downloads?
