Missed the Hairy. Saw two adult Red-headeds in the same place they were two winters ago - about 300 yards upstream of MP 24, opposite the downstream end of an island in the Potomac. I suspect the RH's will be there the rest of the winter, for those who want to see this attractive species fairly close to DC. Also had a Winter Wren below the "cliffs" between MP's 23 and 24.
