It has been a while since I have had a chance to bird the post (or anywhere for that matter). There were a few good things worth reporting. 12 Common Mergansers were seen on the Gunpowder River. Raptors included single Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, and Northern Harrier. I had my first Hairy Woodpecker for the post today and I was able to find a Red-headed Woodpecker were one has been seen in the past month. Also of note was one Tree Sparrow, two E. Towhees, and my first Ruby-crowned Kinglet in over a month.
