I believe it is a rufous, but am not positive. I've seen it both times I visited, including this morning, Jan. 2. Was wondering if anyone else has checked it out? Also, a 2-hour walk at Horsehead Wetlands Center in Queen Anne County on Dec. 28 turned up - large rafts of Canvasback and Ruddy Duck - 1 Northern Pintail - a dozen or so Tundra Swan - 4 Great Blue Heron - Yellow-Rumped Warbler - Bufflehead - Red-Bellied Woodpecker - numerous Red-Winged Blackbirds Thanks - a new subscriber Warren P.
