But come on, you urbanites, can't you scare up a House Finch? I am in a great mood, as I have just added Horned Grebe, Ruddy Duck, Surf Scoter, and Common Goldeneye to my own year-list,while scoping at South Beach (Scientists' Cliffs). AND added Ruddy Duck to my Cumulative Yard List, now at a respectable 144. (This involved setting up the scope in the corner of the deck, and hoping the ducks would swim by a place where I could see them. They obliged!) By the way, Danny, Gr White-fr Goose would be a LIfer for me, so I'd love to hear about it if you sight them again!!!
