The Pintail pair has apparently gone to Centennial until the next freeze, when they'll come back to the Cove at Wilde Lake for guaranteed open water and the all-you-can-eat buffet put out by one of the residents. Where are all the Ruddies this year? Wilde Lake usually has a good-sized flock all winter, but except for a few migrants at the beginning of the season, I haven't seen a single one. I haven't seen any reported at Centennial, either.
