Coster Road was an immediate delight as a beautiful Kestrel was backlit on a telephone wire, and a handsome male Harrier was quartering the fields. On Turner Road I paused for some Bluebirds, and spied a lone Common Grackle (year-bird..) sitting on top of a tree. After carefully perusing the flock of Canada Geese at the end of the road, and two immature Tundra Swans with pinkish beaks, my scanning the fields became more determined. Finally heard and saw a small flock of Horned LArks in the furthest corner.(also Year birds.) Still no luck with the target meadowlark. Sue Hamilton, still cootless after a lunchtime foray around Solomons Island. Calvert County __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
