Jim -  thanks for these updates, its been fascinating following this bird's survival.

This bird certainly gains my respect for surviving through last night.



<This morning, the Rufous Hummingbird was in the Mary Ripley Garden, very active and feisty, probably because I was too close to "its" feeder.  Laura Farron took down her feeder in advance of the freezing weather, but the sugar water in the remaining feeder is being kept above freezing by the lamp. Jim>
