I went to Piscataway Park on Tuesday. There were hardly any ducks at the view point from Wharf Road. At the next Park turn-in, the entrance described in Claudia Wilds' book as "... signed Piscataway Park, Accokeek Creek...", there was a nice group of ducks: Black - Many Mallards - Many Gadwall - 3 Canvasback - 10 Redhead - 8 Bufflehead - 12+ C. Merganser - 12 Lesser Scaup - 3 Ring-necked - 12+ Canada Geese - Many Bald Eagle - 3 At the Colonial Farm area : Hermit Thrush -1 Happy Birding, Dan Eberly, Bethesda _________________________________________________________________ Take advantage of our limited-time introductory offer for dial-up Internet access. http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
