In the afternoons seems to be the best time, at least when the most geese are present (400-500+. I stopped by today for a few minutes, three quarters of the lake is frozen and quite a few geese were standing on the ice and where feeding on shore. Keep trying, there are quite a few small ponds in the Montgomery Village area. Nice find Gema, thanks for reporting it online.
