Fallon" Subject: Rusties, et al at Jug Bay MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit This afternoon (Sunday), a ride along the Jug Bay-Merkle Drive discovered - nothing especially unusual except perhaps for numbers - ~45 Killdeers in the "airfield", some 6 Rusty Blackbirds, as many Waxwings, 14 Red-breasted (not Common) Mergs in the river, and ~600 Black Ducks on the edge of the ice - perhaps driven from the marsh by the freeze. A few White-crowns continued their winter tradition at the Visitors Center. No Bonaprate's Gulls or White-fronted Geese seen.
