The hummingbird was sitting in a big tree near the feeder and we flushed a Cooper's hawk sitting low in the bushes right next to the feeder. Unfortunately, the feeder was mostly frozen and no solution was available. We cleared out the ice and moved the feeder about 3 inches closer to the feeder. Within 5 minutes the hummingbird was there feeding. The ovenbird was also present near the base of the wall looking cold - not surprising given the sub-ten degree temperature.
