But I did manage to catch a quick glimpse of the Red-headed Woodpecker today at the edgewood Area of APG. It was found in its usualy stand at the "end" of Hoadly Road. My morning comute (I95 exit 100 to exit 77) has been good for raptors lately with Red-tails being seen daily. I have also had Sharpies and Cooper's too in both Cecil and Harford. the Susquehanna was full of Common Mergs (500+/-) two days ago. I have been hosting Bald Eagles in the yard nearly every morning for a week now. They are nice enough to drop the remains of the breakfast (mud shad) in my driveway too! I also had a Cooper's Hawk fly over the cove yesterday thanks to the crows I just caught a glimps of it. OT: I recently finished a short narrative and composite list of birds I saw while in Costa Rica lazst summer for the Cecil Bird Club's newsletter. If anyone is interested in it let my know (off line) and I send it to you.
