P. G. Co. to try to see some Horned Larks. I did not achieve this goal, but as i pulled up to the end of the road, there was a Peregrine cruising over the fields. It eventually disappeared over the river. Ironically, this is a species that has yet to be recorded on the Jug Bay CBC (whose circle this is in). There was also a Cooper's Hawk and a Red-shouldered. After that i went to the end of Milltown Landing Rd, and have to say -- what a fabulous spot. Again, very windy, but it sure looks like it has potential. I did see White-cr. Sparrow, A. Tree Sparrow, and a Phoebe, as well as many DC Cormorants on the river. It is a state hunting area, so winter visits are safest on Sundays. danny bystrak bristol, A A Co ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
