I do not recall any reports of these two birds after late November (we saw them both Nov. 21) and there had been some speculation that the "SI Rufous" was one of these NW DC birds. Does anyone know the date of the last report of the hummers at W Street and how that fits in with the appearance of the bird(s) at the SI? Also, apparently the current Rufous is also banded -- are there any plans to capture it and read the band number?
