In my pictures the breast of the bird has a bright sunny sheen on it so it is hard to tell. I will say that the bird is darker over-all then the Canadas. Also the head is very round and duck-like. I have not ruled out Cackling. Still, from memory, what struck me the most about the bird (other then its size) was the patterned (paneled back). Each "panel" was separated by a thin gray line. If anyone would like to see the pictures please email me off line. I was planning on birding in eastern Delaware today, but I may stop in Perryville to look for the bird. I'll let you know if I re-find it.
