I was hoping to add to my 2004 list and struck-out with this species today at Little Seneca Lake eventhough they have been seen there recently by others. Thanks Andy Martin Andy, You should probably check again at Black hill Reg'l Park. The Redheads were in the cove closest to the Rt. 121(adjacent to the small gravel parking lot) bridge on Saturday AM, mixed in with Canvasbacks, Ruddy's, Goldeneyes, etc. Most were males and easy to spot. Also check the area around 10-Mile Creek. I didn't hit this spot Saturday AM due to time constraints, but a freind had a few species there that I did not see the same morning in the "regular" body of the lake, including N. Pintails and Red-breasted Merganser, and Tundra Swans (they particularly like the remoteness of this spot). Follow directions in the Mongomery County site guide.
