I grabed my binos and darted out he door. Walking across the ise I found the bird. I was surprised to see a rather handsome-looking Killdeer standing next to some mud at a break in the ice. Other birds around were Belted kingfisher and Pileated Woodpecker at my Father-in-laws house down the road.
