I saw the yellow-headed blackbird behind the Marlton Plaza shopping center, Route 301 & Fairhaven Avenue, bordering a WSSC drainage area, and the back of the shopping center. (good habitat but lots of trash to see in the winter). The bird was in a cherry tree behind my house, & then in the Pyracantha. I'll keep looking and post if I see it again. I did get a good enough look to feel confident of the ID.

Hi Susan --

The Yellow-headed Blackbird is a much-wanted species in Maryland for a lot of us (I for one constantly seem to miss them!) -- so I wondered if you had more detailed information on where you saw the bird.

Also, if you see it again perhaps let Mdosprey know...
