In the process I ran into a few interesting birds worth mentioning. In my yard on the 27th I had a Red-tailed Hawk, Bald Eagle, E. Towhee, and Y-b Sapsucker. the next day In Elkton I found the Greater White-fronted Goose at Howard's Pond. There was also a Ring-necked Duck, a Coot, and Black Duck there. In my father-in-laws woods on Hances Point (south of North East) I found 4 Hermit Thrushes, a Sapsucker, a Golden-crowned Kinglet, and a Great Horned Owl that I flushed from the pines along the trail.
