This = is #106 for the year in Charles. Co. I did not see the dark morph = Rough-legged Hawk today at this spot but I was there later than the last = two days. I also went exploring the eastern side of Cobb Neck looking for = Longspurs in all the wrong places. No Longspurs either. Actually, the = habitat looked fine, but no one told the birds. I did have duetting = Great Horned Owls about 1:30 PM along Banks O'dee Road. =20 On Route 257 south of Wayside about 3000 Canada Geese but no other = species of geese. =20 Lots of Fox Sparrows along Wicomico Beach Rd. and a few Hermit Thrushes. = The real treat was about everywhere I stopped I had Eastern Towhee. =20 Bald Eagles were loitering along the frozen Charles Co. version of the = Wicomico River at many spots. Canada Geese and Tundra Swan were also = dispersed along the same river.
