I have taken him birding several times in teh Baby Bjorn when it is not too cold. I use a wrist strap now for my binocs which works well for light/medium weight binocs but maybe not so well for heavier pairs. I could not find any other effective way to attach glasses and get to them quickly. Regarding the Baby Bjorn, I bought one and tried it but it was quite stressful on my back. As you may know they also make an ACTIVE baby bjorn which offers much greater back support but also costs more. For me it was worth the money. He falls asleep in it about 75% of the time we are out walking around. It's kind of like magic and it certainly helps my birding.
