Stopped by the Ripley Gardens at the Smithsonian this morning for a = quick look at the Hummingbird tree between 11:40am and 11:55am.  No sign = of any hummingbirds at all.  Only bird seen was a Northern Mockingbird.  = Walking back thru the Haupt Garden on the west side turned up empty as = well.
