MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi again Folks, For those who showed up after noon (and there were a lot of us) to see the Bohemian Waxwing, the result was not good. Some of us were there for 4 1/2 hours without a glimpse of the desired bird. Therefore, any reports from those who try tomorrow (Monday) will be greatly appreciated, either yay or nay. The consolation prize was a high-flying Rough-legged Hawk, doing its "hover thing" several hundred feet up over a field adjoining the nursery where the waxwing flock was frequently seen feasting. After calling it quits on the waxwings (as the flock dwindled late in the day), Bill Hubick and I headed over to Kent Narrows to enjoy close views of the nice collection of waterfowl, to include Canvasbacks, Redheads, both Scaup, and C. Goldeneye. After that we headed to the north end of Kent Island, which turned out to be birdless, but a good look at a Gray Fox was enjoyable.
