It's easy to Participate: 1. Count the birds in your backyard, local park, or other natural area on one or all four count days, for at least 30 minutes. 2. Keep track of the highest number of individuals that you observe at any one time. 3. Keep separate records and fill out a checklist for each area. 4. Go to website http://www.birdsource.org 5. Select YOUR STATE Checklist and submit your results. 6. The website has more detailed instructions on how to complete the checklist and will offer identification tips and answer your questions.
