After seeing it only once per day over the weekend (2/7 and 2/8), we have seen it only once since then (Shelly saw it on Tuesday morning). In fact, the goldfinch flock is also much reduced for its peak of 100+ birds. On the other hand, there was a Chipping Sparrow there this morning. This beats my local early date for Chipper by about 3 weeks.
