And I must admit Bonnie, is was a very nice bird to look at in hand. The students got a kick out of it being called the "Winter Chippy". I did not realize that was it's nick name so they kids taught me something too. The last month has been such a joy seeing so many kids get excited about wearing binoculars, using a Peterson's Field Guide and identifying birds.
