Thinking back, I do believe it mostly comes in the afternoon. I'm sure others can relate - it seems to be teasing me. When I first saw it today, I raced for the digital camera - I had taken the disc out to empty it onto the computer. No good. So I grabbed the camcorder - the battery was dead. All this time, he seemed to be perfectly content on one branch of the Honey Locust I have out the back door. But as soon as I found the backup battery for my camcorder, he began hopping from tree to tree so I couldn't focus on him for more than a split second. I'm beginning to fear he's becoming like Bigfoot. You know all of those photos taken of what people think is Bigfoot that are blurry and from a distance? Those are the only types of photos I have of this bird! My husband just ordered me a better digital camera last night (the one we have is four years old), so hopefully I'll be able to show proof of my phantom bird soon. :) Leslie Keedysville, MD ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
