I assume it was the same one reported earlier this week. Redhead count at Lake Placid is now up to 14. 9 males/5 females. 1st ever Brown Creeper visited my suburban yard today. I was scanning a small flock of Cedar Waxwings on the very slim chance that one might be a Bohemian (Hey, a guy can dream can't he?) when a small brown bird landed at the base of the only big tree in my front yard and started working its way up the trunk! Most unexpected. George Jett - wish I could send you some of the 30+ House Sparrows that visit my yard every day.
