A park ranger in Massachusetts needed to leave the park office for a little, so a volunteer with no birding experience agreed to answer any phone calls. When the ranger returned, the volunteer reported that the following rare birds had been sighted in the park: a "wobbling vireo" (presumably a warbling vireo described by someone with a Boston accent) and a "pair of green falcons" (presumably a single peregrine).
