On the way To wye Island at the St Peters Church on rt 50 near Queenstown I stopped to look for Waxwigs as the graveyard has Many Red cedars some are very old trees . I did Find 25 Cedar Waxwings and 3 yellow Rumped warblers feeding on the cedar berries. On to wye Island The Canvas Backed ducks are still there a few more Lesser Scaup 6 The Red Headed woodpecker was seen As were the Eagles and Geese . On sun afternoon I went To Sparks road near Ridgely to look for Longspurs , None seen . The large flock of Snow geese was gone only birds were 2 flickers scads of White Throated sparrows 1 song sparrow , 1 Northern Harrier . I went back to Queen Annes County To Little Eagle Rd between Starr And Ruthsburg Tundra Swans were landing in a field there 711 of them . On to route 309 The pond 1 mile from 213 that is on 309 Had A Large Flock Of Snow Geese 1 White morph Ross' Goose seen very Well . looking Over the snows well I saw the head of A Brant sticking out of a sea of White with some Blue Snows also. I think its safe to assume this is the caroline County flock boldly going where not many Snow geese have gone this year up till now. 2 Canada Geese Also there 1 was a small Richardsons, Smaller overall size short neck small Bill.
