It was just after sunset and the bird actualy bzzed my car as I sat at the red light. I followed the bird to the Very tall radio antenna at the State Police barracks where I assumed it was going to roost for the night. I have also been seing an increased number of Red-shouldered Hawks in my neighborhood lately. Towards the end of last winter I recall haveing as many as 6 RSHA in the 'hood.... Sunday morning in Charlestown I had Redhead, Canvasback, Ring-necked Duck, Common Merg, Mallard, and American Wigeaon. Also there were Black Vultures, and Bald Eagles there...
