I = noticed a few reports to the list last weekend...if anyone noted Lesser = Black-backeds between 13-15 February and **didn't** report, please drop = me a line. Totals: 118 (PA), 18 (DE), 8 (MD), 4 (DC) Regional total: 148 (Philadelphia to DC, plus MD Eastern Shore) Cherry Island landfill, Wilmington DE (M Smith) Total =3D 18 Mike Smith tallied 17 ad and 1 3rd yr. Also 1 mystery 'tween' bird not = counted. (note: 25 were reported from there on the 13th) Maryland Total =3D 8 Cecil Co landfill 5 - 3ad, 2 1st winter (S McCandless) Kent Co 1 ad, Eastern Neck Is (W Ellison) Eastern Shore 2 (D Powell) Washington DC (P Pisano) Total =3D 4 Washington Channel and Tidal Basin: 3ad, 1 1st winter In the Philadelphia area, our only exceptional report came from Lake = Galena near Doylestown, Bucks County, where many seem to be roosting = nightly. 93 LBBGs were noted there before sunset on Saturday! A few = others were seen at various locations in Bucks, Berks and Montgomery = Counties, PA. Thanks very much to all who reported! We try to do this the second = Saturday of the month, late in the day for the Philadelphia area, = anytime elsewhere.
