The bird was in the ocean = just left of the green buoy. It appeared to be an Alcid, black above = and white below with a thin black bill and a mostly white neck; all = white throat and mostly white nape. There appeared to be a thin black = line curving back and down from the eye. I saw the bird only twice, a = few seconds each time, so was unable to show it to any other birders = there at the time, about 12:30pm. At that distance, and with such brief = looks, I can hardly say that I saw the bird well. A look at the field = guides might suggest a Common Murre, but I haven=92t heard that anyone = else saw that species.=20 =20 Fortunately, I had much better views of 2 Razorbills near the end of the = north jetty. =20 Cliff Comeau =20 cliff.comeau@att.net =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =========================================================================
