According to the McAfee web site Klez -- which spreads by sending EMail from machines it has infected -- frequently uses a false address on the EMail. On the other hand the mail probably did come (inadvertently) from someone whose machine contains both your EMail address and Bonnie's, and MDOsprey readers must be a large majority of such people. Klez has been around for a while and I'd bet that just about every machine that is attached to the internet has been addressed by that worm at least once. The best simple protection is to keep your software updated, use virus scanners and a firewall, and never, never, never execute an attachment whose contents you aren't completely sure of. Using an EMail reader that very few other people use is good for peace of mind also. Hackers don't target software that few people have.
