I arrived at the inlet at about 10:00 AM and soon located some Razorbills 4 in the scope view at onetime 2 others located in other areas. Red Necked Grebes 2 one at the mouth of the inlet the other in the back near the hotel . 3 Great Cormorants back there as well. Lots of Common and Red throated Loons . several Common Eiders with 1 adult male , 1 sub adult King Eider, 3 sanderling , Purple Sandpipers , Ruddy Turnstones, Bonaparts Gulls also there with lots of Birders there as well . After Lunch it was off to Eagles Nest Rd to the Golf Course pond . Soon as I arrived so did some other Birders The Eurasion Widgeon was soon seen by the others to be quickly found by me And as fast as that the same birder saw a second Eurasion Widgeon Both Males The 2 Side by side would take your breath away in the bright sunshine. Lots Of American widgeon as well as lots of Gadwall there too.with more and more birders comming here also . On way home in the late afternoon the Salsibury borrow pit at the new Bypass held a Flock of about 30 Tundra Swan and 3 Pintails.
