We walked the trail along Moore's Branch at the north end of Lake Roland, and did hear a few spring peepers, the first of the year for us. We also had a good variety of birds, but nothing unusual. The surprise was an over-wintering butterfly. Not the expected Mourning Cloak, however. This one was a Question Mark. A colorful sight on this spring-like day.
