The bird was between the first two islands inside the wildlife area. The Snow Goose was to the left, did not present an opportunity for comparison. The bitty Canada often followed one of the coots around, which stuck me as very odd. I never got a good look at the breast. The bill length was shorter than the width of the head, or so I thought.
