I just wanted to let you know about a couple of walks that are coming up, as well as our monthly program. All events are jointly sponsored by the Prince George's Audubon Society and the Patuxent Bird Club MOS chapter. This Saturday will be our regularly-scheduled walk at Fran Uhler Natural Area, right off of 197 at Lemons Bridge Road, near Bowie State University. Walk starts at 7:30 a.m. No reservations are necessary. Next Saturday, March 13, there will be a trip to area ponds and Jug Bay to look for waterfowl. The trip will leave from the Bowie Park & Ride at 7:30, so you should plan to be there before that. Call Fred Fallon at 301-249-1518 for reservations. Finally, PG Audubon member and former President, Mike Callahan, will present a talk on Barn Owls at our monthly meeting this Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about these beautiful birds - he'll even be bringing a live one for people to see. This program is free and open to the public. For directions to the College Park Airport Annex, go to our website at: http://www.pgaudubon.org It's Spring, get outside and enjoy it!!
