Subject: Hances Point waterfowl (cecil)

Greetings,

Last night I found three drake Wood Duck on the south side of Hances Point off the North East River. This morning I had three more at my house on Shelter Cove south of North East. There also this morning were three Hooded Mergs and one Common Merg.

For the past two years I have had nesting Ospreys in a dead tree in my yard. Yesterday I had a thrid year Bald Eagle sitting in the nest. I have seen this same ealge in the yard on numerous occasions during the week before, but that was the first time I saw it sitting in the Osprey's nest. How cool would that be to have them move in to the nest. (how likely is
that?)

Good Birding,
Chris Starling

PS: I noticed TONS of waterfowl on the Gunpowder River today while at work. -later I'll take the scope out to see what's there...
