Five hundred or more Tundras in each of two groups and other several smaller groups and five hundred Canadas in one group. The last three evenings and mornings the Ring-billed Gulls have been working the shore line eating what we think are small fish, maybe Herring? Are the Herring running now? Numbers of all waterfowl are down, haven't seen buffies here for over a week. We prepared our Osprey nest platform for the new season yesterday and it was visited by a prospective tenant a few hours after it was ready. Thanks for the heads-up George. (still no Red-necked Grebe) Spring is making a brief retreat this week, but the inevitable is upon us!
