Had to wait for additional information from our leader. It was a great day to be out but a little windy. A lot of singing, a lot of waterfowl, 21 species.. After our trip, several of us split, one group headed N, other headed S to check out the river, and I went to SE toward the Rt 331. Zach Baer shows up with a friend for a few minutes as I was getting ready to leave from Rt 331 bridge. Eastern Phoebe is back and hangs out near observation platform that has a view of marshy ponds. Vesper Sparrow was seen well up close with other sparrows. It was feeding along scrub that blocks the view of the unplowed field from the road about halfway between the welcome center at main entrance and the education classroom at the creek.
