This morning, I was greeted by a flyover flock of 68 Tundra Swans. Also present was an adult Bald Eagle perched in a tree, 17 Gadwall, and 4 American Wigeon (2 males, 2 females). Eight Wood Ducks were also present. At lunchtime, the Gadwall and Wigeon were still present, but 4 Ring-necked Ducks had also appeared (3 males, 1 female). And, a Carolina Chicadee was busy excavating a hole in a dead tree.
