On the north end of the golf course, large flocks of Common Grackles, American Robins, and a single Wilson's Snipe. In the Potomac, assorted Double-crested Cormorants and a few male Lesser Scaups. At the south end of the course, a female Merlin actively hunting. Along Washington Channel, more gulls and the Merlin again, giving me a really close look as it tried to stare me down. At the Maine Ave. fish market, more gulls, including a 2nd winter Lesser Black-backed.
