Also in the area were 100 Greater Scaup, 12 = Canvasback, 20 Ruddy Ducks, and 2 Osprey. Just north of Cliffs City in a = small pond on the east side of MD-289 there were 15 American Wigeon, and = 7 Gadwall. The John Hanson Road ponds held 3 REDHEAD, 5 Northern = Shovelers, 70 Ring-necked Ducks, and 110 Lesser Scaup. At Broad Neck = landing there were 950 Lesser Scaup, and 7 Common Mergansers. The = Chesapeake Farms viewing pond off Ricauds Branch Rd held 8 pintail, 100 = shovelers, 18 Gadwall, 45 Lesser Scaup, and 18 Ruddy Ducks. At low tide = during the morning here at Chesapeake Landing there were 17 Wilson's = Snipe feeding on the flats of Mill Creek near Worton Landing.
