It is a park property owned my MNCPPC-Dept of Park and Planning, Montgomery County. The garden was planted with MD native species with a grant from MOS and the late Lawrence Zeleny's estate. During the Spring Festival on May 15, bluebird monitor volunteers will be on hand at the garden to answer questions about planting native berry-producing shrubs, trees, and vines for bluebirds and other berry-eating birds.
