At Tanyard the Green-winged Teal were quite numerous with a few Pintail. Mallards, Black Duck, and fly-by Common Merg's were also present. The tide was completely out leaving vast mud flats where I counted 62 Snipe feeding. This number could be off the rush hour traffic was kinda scaring me. I'm sure there was probably alot more. This is the most Snipe I've ever seen together. On Poplar Neck Rd. there was a single Am. Wigeon feeding with Black Ducks in the marshes just before reaching Choptank along with more Green-winged Teal. Also observed was a pair of Blue-winged Teal in a ditch by a farm (I forgot the name of the road) on the road to the right off Poplar Neck just before the Poplar Neck turns to dirt. Nothing of interest on the Choptank River by the marina. On the way home I stopped by Kingston Landing in Talbot Co. to look over the Choptank River and observed three Horned Grebes and many Cm. Mergs. Woodcock were also calling on Kingston Rd.
